Roofing
Full replacements, storm repairs, and flat roofs on homes and light commercial.
A roof replacement means stripping the old layers off, looking at what is under them, and building the system back so water has nowhere to go but the gutter. St. Louis roofs take spring hail, straight-line wind, and a freeze-thaw cycle that works ice into every gap at the eaves. Most of the failures we find start at a flashing joint or a tired valley, not out in the middle of the field.
The person who quotes your roof is the one standing on it while the crew works. Everything is on paper before the first shingle comes off: what gets torn off, what goes back down, and what a sheet of decking costs if we find rot. The roofers on your house do roofs every day, not siding one week and roofs the next.
Most people are deciding between a repair that buys a few more years and a replacement that resets the clock. After we walk the roof we will tell you which one it is actually asking for.

How the job runs
Roofing, step by step.
Quote
We walk the roof, photograph what we find, measure it, and put a fixed price and a written scope in front of you.
Prep
We stage material and the dumpster, tarp landscaping and the AC unit, and cover anything stored under the eaves.
Work
The crew tears off to the deck, replaces bad sheets, lays ice-and-water shield and underlayment, then finishes the field, the flashing, and the ventilation.
Finish
Magnets go over the yard and the drive, the debris leaves with us, and you get photos of the finished flashing and ventilation before the last payment.
Questions
Straight answers.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes here are a one-day or two-day tear-off and install, weather allowing. Steep pitches, second layers, and cut-up roofs with a lot of valleys take longer. Low-slope and flat commercial work runs by the square foot and gets scheduled on its own.
Do you work with insurance claims after hail?
Yes. We inspect the roof, document the hail and wind damage with photos and measurements, and we meet your adjuster on the roof so you both see the same damage. What your carrier pays is their call, and we will not tell you there is damage up there when there is not.
What happens if you find rotten decking?
We show you the bad sheets before we cover them. Decking replacement is priced per sheet in your written scope, so the number is set up front instead of showing up at the end. On older homes with plank decking we sometimes sheet over the planks, and we will tell you before we do.
Can you do a repair instead of a replacement?
Often, yes. If the field shingles still have life and the trouble is a flashing joint, a valley, or a few wind-lifted courses, a repair is the honest call. When the mat is brittle, the granules are gone, or there are already two layers up there, a repair is money you spend twice.
What is the warranty on materials and labor?
Shingle manufacturers carry their own limited warranty on the material, usually 25 to 50 years depending on the line you pick. We warrant our workmanship separately in writing, and the term is on the contract you sign. Wind and hail events go through your carrier, not through a workmanship warranty.
